About Gail Keller
Gail is a stay-at-home mom who wanted to utilize her love for research and training along with her passion to help others succeed. “When weekends rolled around we were always searching on line for what fun activities were going on. We would hear about events or even great sales the day after they occurred. I thought other parents must be in the same boat”. Gail launched Gail’s Scoop…Keeping JoCo KS Moms Informed in April 2009 with the mission of providing Johnson County, Kansas parents with free and timely information to help them in their daily lives.
By their first anniversary Gail attracted 1,000 subscribers in the Johnson County and KC metro area by word-of-mouth. Readers can also follow Gail’s Scoop on her Facebook Fan Page and Twitter account where she has developed a somewhat separate following of over 800 fans.
“Training is all about gathering a bunch of information, putting it in an easy to understand format with the goal of helping others succeed at their job. Gail’s Scoop is very similar; I help parents do their job every week, whether it is to plan a family outing, to keep their kids safe, or to get great deals on stuff their family needs.
Gail was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She has a BA from Rutgers University and an MBA from Hofstra University. She has over ten years experience designing and developing training programs and delivering them throughout the US, Europe and Asia. Gail moved to Overland Park in 2004 when her husband got a great job opportunity. She has been a stay-at-home mom to her now 7½ year old son and 5 year old daughter, ever since.
